Unrest - Isabel

Finally someone has answered the small notes i put into scotch bottles and sail down rainy gutters on dead peoples estates, and they did so by adding some Unrest to the superwires of joy we call the internet.

i’m not even gonna delete that. fucking ridiculous as it is….

So yea, if you don’t know Unrest, you should. Here is what to look for, at least cause they are my faves so i can say they are good… (to me!)

I thought this was the first video that introduced me to Unrest but it actually was “Cath Carroll,” about the Factory Record troubadour which surfaces yet another way that Teenbeat Founder and dreamy Unrest frontman displayed his love for the Manchester label.

I love the 4AD card at the beginning of this video — thanx v23. I have to say this is one of the best pop songs ever created, about Cath Carroll’s grandmother, an artist in France, I believe.

I have the single framed and hanging on my wall — that’s how I express my love for Mark E Superstar, Teenbeat, and this song :)
