Loney, Dear - Saturday Waits
i was turning pages in The Big Takeover the other night and i think it was Loney, Dear that had a review that mentioned something about how there are a ton of Brian Wilson wannabe’s (yea i am paraphrasing) but they liked this band, and so do i… so good for pigeon watching. hugh says that he wont watch videos with bands in them because he hates seeing what they look like, and i agree 70% of the time… i mean honestly, i was more than a little disappointed when i saw the lead singer of the song, ‘i might like you better if we slept together’… here i was a teen in the 80s and was like, damn she sounds hot… and then i saw the video, and that was over like a snuffed out boner. anyways, hugh is right, and take it from me, dont go looking for the other vids from this band here, unless you want to see what the wolfman from mad, mad monsterparty would look like if he lost his facial hair. ok maybe thats mean, but sheesh, make more videos like this one… cause who doesnt love dogs in human costumes, ok me, it’s fucking ridiculous, but i still like the video.
